music producer. recording artist. engineer. Researcher.
I am a musician-technologist and researcher focused on designing systems that extend musical expression through artificial intelligence and interactive design. My work investigates symbolic melody generation, real-time human-AI collaboration, and improvisation-supportive interfaces. With formal training in performance, production, and music technology, I approach AI as a creative partner rather than a replacement. I aim to develop tools and models that empower musicians, deepen musical understanding, and contribute to the broader discourse on computational creativity.
Research Interests
My research explores how computational tools can extend human musical expression. I am especially interested in symbolic melody generation, real-time AI collaboration, and interactive performance systems. With a background in music technology and composition, I investigate how musicians and machines can co-create. I focus on building tools that are not only intelligent but musically intuitive. I am drawn to systems that respond to the nuances of live performance, adapt in real time, and encourage improvisation across genres and styles. At the intersection of creative coding, music cognition, and machine learning, I aim to develop open-source tools and frameworks that empower artists and contribute to academic research in music AI.

These essays and technical studies explore the intersection of music, AI, and creative systems. Each offers a distinct lens: experiments in symbolic generation, critical writing on ethics and authorship, and hands-on evaluations of AI-powered tools. Together, they form a growing research practice grounded in performance, production, and system design.
ACADEMIC WRITING
Evaluating Parametric and Non-Parametric AI Models for Music Generation: A Hands-On Comparative Study
A comparative analysis of text-to-MIDI and text-to-audio generation systems, using platforms such as AIVA, Stable Audio, and Suno. The study evaluates how model type and degree of user control influence musical coherence, adaptability, and creative utility, offering practical insights for composers and researchers exploring generative music workflows.
Visualization-Based Audio Analysis Using Waveforms, Spectrograms, and Amplitude Envelopes
A technical investigation into how waveform, spectrogram, and amplitude envelope visualizations support music signal interpretation and classification. Using Python-based analysis in Jupyter Notebooks with librosa, the study connects signal processing techniques to human interpretability in both music information retrieval and AI-assisted audio workflows.
Human-in-the-Loop AI in Mixing and Mastering: Evaluating Creative Control in Audio Processing Tools
An applied study investigating how AI-powered mixing and mastering tools impact creative control in audio production. Through comparative experiments with Neutron 4 and Moises, the article contrasts suggestive versus automatic AI workflows and evaluates their influence on user agency, sonic clarity, and stylistic adaptability. Findings offer practical and theoretical insights for designing AI systems that empower human producers in the studio.
Coexistence or Control: Ethical Reflections on AI in Music Creation
An ethics-focused exploration of AI’s role in music, examining questions of authorship, transparency, and creative agency. Drawing from academic literature and industry perspectives, the essay advocates for human-centered AI design practices that promote openness, informed consent, and equitable collaboration between human and machine.
This project investigates symbolic melody generation, real-time human–AI interaction, and improvisation-supportive design. It is a hands-on exploration of how computational tools can extend musical expression, support co-creation, and empower musicians through intuitive interfaces.
RESEARCH PROJECT
Human–AI Co-Creation in Melody Writing
An exploration of how interactive, loop-based workflows can turn AI into a collaborative partner in symbolic melody composition. The project aims to give musicians intuitive, real-time control over AI-generated melodies, supporting creative flow, stylistic variety, and artistic agency.
Goals:
Prototype a loop-based melody co-writing system using symbolic generation and MIDI playback feedback.
Examine how structured back-and-forth with an AI model affects musical flow, authorship perception, and stylistic iteration.
From analog grit to digital polish, these works explore how groove, tone, and texture shape meaning. Each track is a compositional system, engineered to amplify tension, motion, or collaboration.
Studio Projects & Production Experiments
Tell Me - Super Love
Produced, composed, and recording “Tell Me,” a song that hits all the raw spots underneath the current tension state. The 7/4 timing of this track builds tension and emphasizes the frustration in the lyrics, taking you on an unapologetic search for reality.
“Unsettling and irresistibly captivating” Heat Waves Magazine
Chill Will - ULTRATECH
Co-wrote and produced this instrumental track for the breakout album of Ultratech, an up-and-coming EDM artist. This track started with original stems and grew into a harmonic challenge.

I study sound through creation. This book offers a close look at how experimentation, intuition, and production choices came together on Je T’aime, a project that embraces both artistic freedom and deliberate design.
Super Love: The Music of Je T’Aime
On a scale of “like to love”, Super Love is on the extreme end. It’s like turning it to 11 in terms of love. When something is great or excessively pleasing, don’t just love it, SUPER LOVE it!
Musically, Super Love is anything you want, as opposed to being stuck in a genre or sound, which can happen with bands. Some bands make the sound they make, but Super Love is just doing what they love. That’s what has been “the sound” of the band; whatever they want. That’s what is unique about it.
This book will gives you an inside look at creating an album. From conceptual approach and artistic vision to choosing technologies and effects. Dive into the process of creating Je T’aime.
